Terms of Use

1. About Blue Phoenix

Blue Phoenix is a private bar review service for Philippine bar takers. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Supreme Court of the Philippines or its Office of the Bar Confidant.

2. Accounts

• Mentee and VIP accounts are created by Blue Phoenix. App accounts are created when you sign in with Google.
• Your account is for you alone. Keep your password private and do not share your login with anyone.
• Give us accurate information and tell us if it changes.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.

3. Coaching

Applying for coaching does not guarantee a slot. Accepted mentees are assigned a coach and a coaching period. Sessions follow the schedule set with your coach, and meeting links are for your personal use only. Coaching access ends when your coaching period ends or when you graduate from the program, after which your account becomes read-only.

4. Mock and Practice Exams

• Exams are timed. The timer keeps running even if you close the page, and your answers are submitted automatically when time runs out.
• Mock Exams can be taken once. Practice Exams can be retaken.
• Answer the exams on your own. Remarks and suggested answers are for your study only and are not official bar exam grades.

5. Products, orders and payment

• Orders are confirmed only after we verify your payment and, where required, your identity.
• Prices are in Philippine pesos and may change, but changes will not affect orders we have already confirmed.
• For hardcopy orders, make sure your delivery address and contact number are correct. Delivery times are estimates.
• App subscriptions give access for the period of the plan you choose.
• If there is a problem with your order, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it, in line with your rights under Philippine consumer law.

6. Our materials

Our digests, reviewers, codals, pre-week materials, LMTs, exams and other content are owned by Blue Phoenix and protected by the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines. When you buy or access them, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own bar review. You may not copy, share, upload, resell or distribute them, in whole or in part, without our written permission.

7. Acceptable use

When using the service, you agree not to:

• share your account, or access another person's account;
• record, screenshot or distribute exam questions, suggested answers or coaching sessions;
• submit false information, fake proof of payment, or another person's ID;
• try to break, overload or get around the security of the website or app; or
• use the service for anything unlawful.

8. No guarantee of results

We work hard to make our materials accurate and up to date, but laws and jurisprudence change. Our materials are study aids, not legal advice. Passing the bar depends on many things outside our control, so we cannot guarantee any result.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, Blue Phoenix is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for interruptions caused by things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine law that cannot be waived.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing paid materials or logins. You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will always show the latest version. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
